New community garden coming to former Point Grey gas station site

A vacant site on the southeast corner of West 10th Avenue and Alma Street, formerly a gas station, in Vancouver’s West Point Grey neighbourhood will be converted into a community garden on a temporary basis.

Property owner Landa Global Properties says the 24,000-square-foot gravel site will be turned into a community garden with over 100 garden beds for the duration of the 2017 growing season.
